A rare opportunity for a Part Time Business Manager (3 days per week- 52 weeks pa) is now available at Graveney Primary School.


We are a Stand Alone Academy (setup as a Multi Academy Trust).


We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Business Manager to contribute to the strategic decision making and planning for the ongoing success of our school.


The business manager role is key to the operational running of our school and the successful applicant will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and will be working closely with the Headteacher and all stakeholders.


This role will involve day to day responsibility for:


  • Leading and managing all aspects of the school’s finances including the annual budget
  • Responsibility for the premises management of the school
  • Management of Health and Safety
  • Management of procurement of services to the school, ensuring best value
  • Responsibility for a small support staff team


The successful applicant will:

  • Have a sound understanding of the education sector and up to date knowledge of all relevant legislation
  • Experience of financial management systems
  • To be able to meet deadlines
