There is something truly special about being part of a small school community...
At Graveney Primary School, our four mixed-age classes and close-knit environment allow every child to be known, supported and celebrated as they grow in confidence and develop a love of learning.
With just over 100 pupils, we are able to build strong relationships with every child and their family. Our staff know each child as an individual, recognising their strengths, interests and aspirations, which enables us to provide a personalised learning experience where every child can flourish.
Our mixed-age classes offer many unique benefits. Children learn from one another, develop confidence and build friendships across year groups. Older pupils naturally become positive role models, taking pride in supporting and encouraging younger children. This creates a caring and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels they belong and every child has the opportunity to learn from others.
One of the first things visitors notice about Graveney is the warmth of our school community. Our children are kind, respectful and compassionate, and they genuinely care for one another. We are incredibly proud of the positive relationships that exist between pupils, staff and families, creating an environment where children feel safe, valued and happy every day.
We know that children achieve their very best when they feel secure, supported and inspired. That is why wellbeing sits at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated staff nurture each child's confidence, encourage them to embrace new challenges and celebrate every success, helping them to become resilient, curious and enthusiastic learners.
At Graveney Primary School, we combine the warmth and personal touch of a small school with high aspirations and a broad range of opportunities, ensuring every child is equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to thrive both now and in the future.
