Admissions

Would you like to see our school?

“So warm and lovely. It was clear that my child wouldn't just be joining a school and not even just a community, he'd be joining a little family."

If your child starts school in September 2027, we would love to show you our beautiful school.

Would you like to learn more about Graveney Primary School?

Graveney Primary School provides a safe, caring and happy environment for your child to learn and develop.

Our early years classroom is limited to 15 pupils. As a small school, we believe that keeping this as a small class gives the children the best start to their school life.

At Graveney we believe in celebrating success at every level. The life of school is driven by enthusiasm and a desire to achieve.

We aim to bring learning alive, making it exciting and stimulating for all of our pupils.

Your child only gets one chance at education, and we aim to make a difference!

In Year Admissions

If you would like your child to attend our school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below.  For all children wishing to join the school outside the main reception admission in September, we will require you to complete an In-Year Admission Form.

School Admission Appeals

Parents will receive the outcome of their Reception school application on National Offer Day – Friday 16 April 2027. If you are not offered a place at our school, you have the right to appeal the decision to an independent appeal panel.

To have your appeal heard before the start of the new school year wherever possible, appeals should be submitted by Monday 17 May 2027. We recommend that you accept the school place you have been offered, even if you intend to appeal, as this will ensure your child has a school place in September. Accepting an offered place does not affect your right to appeal or to remain on a waiting list for your preferred school.

Further information about the appeals process, including how to submit an appeal and the relevant forms, is available on the Kent County Council website:
